Attached above you’ll find my Social Strategy Comparative Analysis research paper completed back at UGA in March 2013. I chose Axe and Old Spice because they are huge competitors, in a very intriguing space. Advertising and engaging teenage boys, specifically, is an interesting task for any brand, and the ways these two companies are doing it is insightful for the rest of us.
Although sometimes it may be goofy and immature, there are extremely intelligent people behind these brands, leveraging any opportunities for better interactions and sales.
